SaferCity is announcing the conclusion of its agreement with The TEARS Foundation, effective immediately.
SaferCity deeply values the meaningful contributions of The TEARS Foundation in addressing gender-based violence (GBV), including its past collaboration in supporting SaferCity’s GBV Help Desk
SaferCity remains steadfast in its dedication to GBV prevention and survivor support. Since January 2025, our GBV Help Desk has been seamlessly supported by our internal team of trained and experienced operators, ensuring uninterrupted access to critical services.
This transition will not impact the availability or quality of SaferCity’s GBV response and support tools. We continue to collaborate with our trusted partners, law enforcement, and civil society organizations to advance our shared mission of creating safer communities.
